The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations resonate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to several items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
